Boomers are retiring. The GenXers are over 40. Millennials are in mid-career. All employers are finding it difficult to find and hire Gen Z workers in New Mexico. The local labor force shortage is not a short-term issue. Several factors (changes in immigration policy, COVID risks, childcare availability, wages) are causing fundamental changes in work preferences and career goals. This presentation summarizes the recent research and polling results for finding, recruiting, and retaining Gen Z workers.
Ms. Kerley will also hold a Q&A and share her industry perspective on where YOU can look for your next great employee!
