Pandora’s Box to Cinderella’s Castle
As costly leaks mushroomed throughout their 2800 SF in-floor radiant heating system, the Homeowner’s confronted a grim reality that the failing entity would need to be replaced. Fabu-WALL-ous Solutions, LLC, the selected contractor, tackled the unexpected Herculean project that entailed: removal and disposal of 100-plus tons of concrete and existing wood and flagstone flooring; replacement of custom cut flagstone and wood flooring to the pre-existing design layout; replacement of extensive in-home plumbing and electrical lines, some non-compliant with current codes or imbedded in the concrete; pouring a new concrete floor with the new radiant floor heating system, adjusting for areas of prior uneven grading (to re-hang, with precision, all custom doors to their original measured threshold) and re-finishing all plastered walls and ceilings with a highly polished wax Diamond finish.
However, the initial complex remediation project soon burgeoned into our Client’s serendipitous decision for a total home remodel & revitalization that would include: reconfiguration of select spaces and installation of Owner purchased new kitchen/bathroom cabinets, toilets/sinks, appliances, plumbing fixtures and distinctive bathroom tiling.
Ultimately, this nightmarish in- floor radiant floor replacement project wondrously transformed into a stunning and masterfully executed Total Home Remodel to the delight of our Clients…..…… a Cinderella’s Castle.
