Wednesday [9/28] Webinar on tax credits & financial resources of Inflation Reduction Act

“…new programs and hundreds of billions of dollars in new climate-related federal spending.”

Dear SFAHBA Members and Friends of the Association,

A major piece of Federal Legislation, the Inflation Reduction Act [IRA] will have significant impacts on our design/construction sector – some good and some challenging. Please don’t miss a Wednesday, September 28th webinar with NAHB Staff and 2022 NAHB Chairman, Jerry Konter as they unpack some of what we expect from the Act. READ Chairman Konter’s message and register for the webinar below.

There will be a webinar and Q&A. In advance of the webinar, read some of the resources we gathered for you and prepare some questions that will help your business prepare for the opportunities and challenges of the IRA.

Message from NAHB Chairman Jerry Konter

RE: Wednesday, September, 28 Webinar on Opportunities and Challenges of the Inflation Reduction Act.

As noted in my recent Chairman’s Update , on Aug. 16, President Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act into law, unleashing a slew of new programs and hundreds of billions of dollars in new climate-related federal spending.
Although many of these new programs offer new or expanded financial resources and tax credits that could help home builders, remodelers and housing consumers, several are focused on increasing energy code requirements, which could severely impact housing affordability.
To help our industry prepare, please join me for a webinar on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 2 p.m. ET as NAHB staff experts help explain how the Inflation Reduction Act will influence energy code adoption, home renovation, training and tax policy.
Although we expect the federal government to slowly roll out the regulations governing these new programs, this webinar provides an opportunity to ask questions and learn how NAHB can help you navigate the new law.
I hope you will join us for this important discussion. Register today to reserve your seat.
