Members are invited to meet and speak with Daniel Werwath, Senior Housing Policy Advisor to Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham on May 1, 2024 at 11AM. 

Attend to hear the latest on how the Governor’s Office is working to frame policy and advance programs that boost Workforce, Affordable, and Market Rate Housing production while reducing barriers that hamper our builder, construction, & design businesses.

In prep for the meeting, READ “Home Construction Industry Input into Opportunity Enterprise Revolving Fund (OEMB) Rules Revision” prepared by a working group of New Mexico Home Builders Association members.

Mr. Werwath will give an update and seek member feedback on the rules-making-process for the recently passed State Law – House Bill 195, Opportunity Enterprise Revolving Fund and other legislation passed during the 2024 legislative session in support of housing.

There will be a Q&A and chance to share ideas on how the Governor’s Office (and Government in general) can better support our industry to build the housing that is desperately needed in our communities today.

Lunch will be provided, $15 suggested donation.
