Let’s stir creativity and encourage the next generation of home builders, artists, and craftspeople! Every contestant receives a prize packet thanks to award sponsors and grand prize winners will take home LEGO® Builder sets & other great prizes.
This Contest is open to kids attending the 2024 Home Expo and/or living in the Santa Fe Area Home Builders Association service territory which includes Santa Fe, Los Alamos, Taos, Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Mora, and Colfax counties.
*Legos are not required to enter the online contest. Creative building sets or other materials are acceptable. (ex. blocks, rocks, sticks, recycled materials, homemade adobe, etc).
All the LEGOS you need are provided for the in-person build.
Awards announcement and prizes will be given out on March 16th at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center.

TWO ways to enter and showcase your BUILDER skills!
1) Participate in a LIVE-LEGO Build Competition – Register and then come to the Santa Fe Home Expo and Remodel Show at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center on March 16th -17th, 2024.
2) BUILD Something at Home and send us photos/video. Online Entries OPEN February 3rd through March 2nd, 2024. [Instructions on how to submit photos and videos for the online contest will be emailed to registrants]
Pull out that tub of Legos (you may also choose to use other types of building materials, such as blocks, cardboard & glue, recycled materials, etc. all are acceptable)
Prize sponsors include Del Norte Credit Union, Santa Fe Area Home Builders Association, the Santa Fe Children’s Museum, Jacobs Family Insurance Agency, and MORE!
Winners will be chosen from two categories [ages 8 & Under] & [ages 9-12]
Contestants are eligible to win: LEGO® CLASSIC and other Lego Builder sets, Santa Fe Children’s Museum activity kits, Del Norte Credit Union savings account starter kits, and more!
The awards ceremony for online entrants will take place March 16th at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center (need not be present to win).
Photos of your creations will be shared on Facebook and Instagram.

¡Inspiramos la creatividad y motivamos la próxima generación de constructores de casas, artistas, y artesanos! Cada concursante recibirá un paquete de premios debido del agradecimiento de los patrocinadores y los premios más grandes para los ganadores serán sets de construcción de LEGO® y otros premios buenos.
El concurso está abierto para niños quienes participan en el Home Expo o si viven los territorios de servicios de la Santa Fe Area Home Builders Association cuyos incluyen los condados de Santa Fe, Los Alamos, Taos, Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Mora, y Colfax.
*No se requieren LEGOS para entrar. Es aceptable usar otros materiales de construcción, como ladrillos, rocas, palos, materiales reciclables, adobe hecho en casa, etc.

2. CONSTRUYE su creación en su casa y mándanos fotos y video. Participa por internet desde el 3 de febrero hasta el 2 de marzo del 2024. [Instrucciones en cómo subir fotos y videos por internet serán mandados por correo electrónico a los registrantes.]
Saque esa caja de Legos (también puede seleccionar otros materiales de construcción, como bloques, rocas, papel de cartón y pegamento, materiales reciclables, etc. todo será aceptable.)
