The Santa Fe Area Home Builders Association (SFAHBA) and Del Norte Credit Union (DNCU) are happy to once again host the Lego Creations Contest for Kids with great prizes.
A fun competition for Northern New Mexico kids & parents/guardians!
Let’s stir creativity and encourage the next generation of home builders, artists, and craftspeople! Every contestant receives a prize packet thanks to award sponsors and grand prize winners will take home LEGO® Builder sets & other great prizes
The contest is open to kids up to age 12 and under who attend the Home Show or live in Santa Fe, Los Alamos, Taos, Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Mora, or Colfax Counties.
*Legos not required to enter. Creative building sets or other materials are acceptable. (ex. blocks, rocks, sticks, recycled materials, homemade adobe, etc). Participants are invited to upload photos of their creations through DNCU SignUp Genius or directly to the Facebook event page. Awards announcement and prizes will be given out on March 11th at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center.
TWO ways to enter and showcase your BUILDER skills!
1) Participate in a LIVE-LEGO Build Competition – Come to the Santa Fe Home Show and Remodelers Showcase at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center on March 11 -12, 2023.
2) BUILD Something at Home and send us photos/video. Online Entries OPEN January 29th through March 7, 2023.
¡El norte de Nuevo México tendrá una competencia divertida para los niños, padres, y guardianes! ¡Inspiremos a la próxima generación, motivándolos para que sean constructores de casas, artistas, y artesanos! Cada concursante recibirá un premio de parte de los patrocinadores y el premio más grande para los ganadores será un set de construcción de LEGO® y premios buenos adicionales.
El concurso está abierto para los niños de 12 años y menores quienes participen en el “Home Show” o quienes residen en los condados de Santa Fe, Los Alamos, Taos, Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Mora, o Colfax.
*No se requieren Legos para entrar. Es aceptable usar otros materiales de construcción, como ladrillos, rocas, palos, materiales reciclables, adobe hecho en casa, etc. Los participantes están invitados a subir sus fotos de sus creaciones a través del “Sign Up Genius” del DNCU o directamente en la página del evento en Facebook. El anuncio de los premios será dado el 11 de marzo del 2023 en el centro de convenciones comunitario de Santa Fe.

Pull out that tub of Legos (you may also choose to use other types of building materials, such as blocks, cardboard & glue, recycled materials, etc. all are acceptable).
Santa Fe Area Home Builders Association and Del Norte Credit Union are holding our annual LEGO® CREATIONS COMPETITION – online and in-person for 2023
Prize sponsors include Del Norte Credit Union, Santa Fe Area Home Builders Association, the Santa Fe Children’s Museum and MORE!
This 2023 Lego® Creations Contest is open to kids attending the 2023 Home Show and/or living in the Santa Fe Area Home Builders Association service territory which includes Santa Fe, Los Alamos, Taos, Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Mora, and Colfax counties. Winners will be chosen from two categories [age 0-8] & [ages 9-12] and this year we will again award a Grand LEGO® Hacienda winner.
Contestants are eligible to win: LEGO® CLASSIC 484pc.and other Lego Builder sets, Santa Fe Children’s Museum activity kits, Del Norte Credit Union savings account starter kits, and more!
Submissions must be received by February 26, 2023 and can be submitted via the Del Norte Credit Union “SignUP Genius” [Coming soon] or on this Facebook event page.
How does it work? 2 ways to enter.
The awards ceremony for online entrants will take place March 11th at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center (need not be present to win). Snap up to six photos of your LEGO creation. (You may also upload a short 1-minute VIDEO TOUR of your project to the event page.
Share the photos/video of your creation with us on this Facebook event page, or use the Sign-Up Genius to receive email upload instructions. All materials must be received by March 7, 2023.
* Entries must include the 1st name & age of the builder, plus an email, phone#, or other way to contact the parent or guardian.
* Our panel of expert judges will select the winners which will be announced LIVE at the Home Show.

¿Cómo funciona esto? Hay dos maneras para entrar al concurso.
La ceremonia de premios para los participantes del internet será el 11 de marzo del 2023 en el centro de convenciones comunitario de Santa Fe (no se necesita estar presente para ganar el premio.)
Sube hasta seis fotos de tu creación de Lego. (También puedes subir un video de un minuto de tu creación en esta página de internet.)
Comparte las fotos y videos de tu creación con nosotros en la página de Facebook o utiliza el “Sign Up Genius” para recibir instrucciones de como subur sus creaciones por correo electrónico. Todas las creaciones tienen que ser recibidas hasta el 7 de marzo del 2023.
