In 1921, artist BJO Nordfeldt built this stunning, historic east side Santa Fe home. Nordfeldt adorned the home with hand carved lintels and wood trim, creating a home that is truly a piece of art. The property along with his signature woodwork endured for 100 years and has been stewarded through history by various owners who added their touches while preserving Nordfeldt’s imprint. Lightfoot Inc. was honored to work alongside the owners to carefully remodel thehouse to a modern standard while preserving its artistic legacy. The intricate process of reviving a treasured home like this requires a depth of knowledge, steeped in tradition and craftsmanship, alongside a dedicated team of talented craftspeople. Houses tell stories and impact people’s lives in a unique way.
