A View to Remember
This spa-styled bathroom is a part of a larger home renovation which includedthe kitchen, three other bathrooms, new limestone tile floors throughout and a radiant floor heat system. Hard to believe, butthis bathroom was formerlyan unfinished greenhouse space with a cement floor.The Salamander Co. raised the floor with framingandinstalled the plumbing infrastructure to createthe bathroom seen here. The wallswere finished withwater-resistant Vassari natural lime plaster, which helpsregulate humidity. The beautiful fixtures and finishes were chosen by Ashley Campbell Interior Designs of Denver. The Salamander Co. Worked closely with the homeowner to achieve this stunning bathroom with its equally stunning view.
This bathroom is a part of a larger renovation which includes the kitchen, three other bathrooms, new Limestone tile floors throughout and a new radiant floor heat system and about a few hundred thousand associated details! Known as the Spa Bathroom, this room was origianlly a cement floored, unfinished greenhouse space and a solar gain room complete with venting up into the second floor living room. We raised the floor with framing, installed the plumbing infrastructure and created the bathroom seen here. There is electric radiant heat in the floor and a few new operable windows. We finished the walls with Vassari natural lime plaster which is water resilient and also helps regulate the humidity. The beautiful fixtures and finishes were chosen by Ashley Campbell Interior Designs from Denver. We worked closely witht he homeowner throughout the whole renovation and in particular this bathroom. The views from the tub are spectacular and the whole room has a distinctively calming effect…now that it is finished.
