Originally a family complex built in the 1930s, the compound comprises three structures and a sweet courtyard that serves as its own sanctuary. Zachary & Sons’ goal in this project was to apply a bit of polish to this property, which was already imbued with a timeless charm.
Buttery smooth plaster, fragrant split cedar latillas and salvaged handmade tiles come together to invite visitors to sink down into the warmth and comfort of a space that truly exemplifies Santa Fe. Adding to the warmth and comfort are exquisite selections by Jennifer Ashton Interiors and remarkable staging by Metamorphosis Home Furnishings and Design.
This project has been the Zachary & Sons’ family labor of love for the past three years. The opportunity to work on a truly historic treasure was an important nod to our past as well as a step into our historic remodeling future. Zachary & Sons carries on a family legacy of homebuilding that spans six generations and has garnered a trove of awards and honors.
