Santa Fe-area businesses and public safety officials collaborate to provide wildfire safety tips

Hybrid event designed to help protect properties against wildfire

RSVP for this special event designed to inform home and business owners on how to protect their properties against wildfires. The hybrid event, set for Monday, May 13, at the Santa Fe Home Builders Association (SFAHBA), will feature several experts in the field of fire prevention.

Event begins at 4 p.m. with a reception featuring light refreshments. The panel discussion and Q&A follow at 5 p.m. The event will also be live-streamed on the Santa Fe Homebuilders Association YouTube, Facebook,and the SFAHBA website platforms, ensuring accessibility for all.

“The discussion will cover important topics and provide relevant information for businesses and homeowners, including innovative building designs for wildfire-prone areas, effective strategies to address wildfire threats, and selecting the most suitable insurance coverage for your business or home,” said Ned Jacobs, event moderator and owner of Jacobs Family Insurance. “We will delve into an enlightening discussion that promises to transform how you perceive home safety and construction in the face of nature’s unpredictability.”
