May 15th – Builders’ Rendezvous

1st Annual Spring Builders’ Rendezvous a Success!

200 Hamburgers!?! yep.

WOW! A million thank-yous to 200+ folks who attended the first annual Builders’ Rendezvous! We had a vision for how a successful COVID emergence gathering could look, and it was a wild success! Sure, there was a little chaos involved and 2022 Builders’ Rendezvous will be even better, BUT – the idea to converge a LEGO Competition, A Remodelers Showcase Awards Ceremony, a Cornhole Tournament, and a BBQ into one event was a formula for fun! Congrats to Manuel Ruiz & Robbie Ruiz of Sangre de Cristo Roof Company, as they take home the big 1st prize of $500 in our first event Cornhole Tournament – we’ll have to do this again soon!

First: Huge thanks to Megan Goldberg of RGC Access who provided interpretation for our wonderful Kids Lego contestants who are without voice. Congratulations and thank you to ALL the kids who entered the lego competition. See a list of the Grand Prize winners on the LEGO PAGE soon.

AWARDS Ceremony for 2020 & 2021 Remodelers Showcase “Excellence in Remodeling” Awards

• Awards Ceremony will take place at high noon, sure, you can watch it on our LIVE-STREAM event, but swing on by for lunch compliments of Builders Trust and applaud your fellow builders in person.

Awards Ceremony – KIDS Lego Creations Competition

• Our Lego competition is once again taking place online and kids in ALL seven Northern New Mexico counties of our association’s service territory are invited to attend. Learn more here and join us on May 15th to cheer on the next generation of builders, designers, & architects as we give out the awards and prizes at high noon!

Building Material & Equipment Swap Meet

• Load up the truck with those unused materials, fixtures, pieces of mechanical equipment, or under-utilized tools and swap them with your fellow builders or donate them to Habitat for Humanity

Cornhole Tournament

• Cornzizzle your opponents! Grudge matches, builders v. associate members – who will be crowned the cornhole king of 2021 at this first annual event.
