It’s high time to build a home for a deserving Santa Fe family! In partnership with (our neighbors) the Santa Fe Habitat for Humanity, we are going to build a house in the Plaza Bonita subdivision in 2022. We are calling on our member-builders, contractors, and home-sweet-home industry friends to help make it happen! SIGN UP HERE to donate materials or a day of Labor.
Our founding Association members who launched this effort include Borrego Construction, who donated land, Southwest Spray Foam and Roofing, who donated exterior wall foam, and Sunwest Construction Specialties, who donated windows. Thank you all for giving back to your community!
The Habitat Hacienda Home will be an all-electric, net-zero, and solar 3 bed / 2 bath adobe home that will soon be occupied by a young single mom with two children (maybe they’ll be future builders!!!). The house is a modest 1,200-heated sq. feet + 380 sq ft. garage.
